3月20日、「砂漠の天使」が那須に舞い降りる✨
今回は登場前のスナネコを、皆さんにひと足お先にお届けします。
アフリカなどの岩砂漠などに生息する世界最小級の野生ネコ、スナネコ。その愛らしい容姿から「砂漠の天使」といわれています。
スナネコと言う名の通り、その毛の色は砂漠に溶け込む色をして、灼熱の砂から足裏を守るための肉球を覆うような毛があるのが特徴。
実は現在までに国内での飼育例がなく、日本初の飼育（※日本動物園水族館加盟園館）となります。
そんな日本初登場のスナネコを、今回姉妹園の「神戸どうぶつ王国」と同時の2020年3月20日（金）より公開予定です。乞うご期待！

On March 20, “Angel of the Desert” descends in Nasu…This time, we will provide you Sand cats video before their exhibition.
The world’s smallest wild cat and Sand cat that live in rocky deserts such as Africa. It is said to be “the angel of the desert” from its lovely appearance. As its name suggests, it has a hair color that blends into the desert, and has hair that covers the paws to protect the soles from the scorching sand.
