キジトラ白猫のカブ君に久しぶりに会いました。カブ君は、歌舞伎役者さんの隈取みたいな模様がお顔にあるイケメンキャットです。カブ君は地域最大の野良猫の群れ「仲良し野良猫家族」の末っ子です。「仲良し野良猫家族」のメンバー猫さん達は、お互いに血のつながりはありません。みんなで助け合って仲良く暮らしています。
これまでは、群れのなかの兄貴分キジトラ猫ひろし君や、ひろし君の彼女猫でお姉ちゃんみたいな麦わら猫みかんチャンに守られてきたカブ君でした。
カブ君は、若い雄猫としての自信をつけてきているようです。最近は、ひとりで「仲良し野良猫家族」の群れから離れ、遠出を繰り返しています。
そんなカブ君が、遠征中に出会ったのが、別の地域のボス猫ボスキャットちゃんです。（ [ボス猫物語 Boss cat story 1-03] ）
大きな身体のボスキャットちゃんに威嚇されて、しばらく固まっていたカブ君でしたが。無事、「仲良し野良猫家族」の縄張りまで戻っていたようです。
この日、雨上がりの野原を、カブ君がパトロールしていました。
見ると、「仲良し野良猫家族」の若きリーダー、キジトラ猫ひろし君と、
ひろし君の彼女猫、麦わら猫みかんチャンもやって来ていました。
仲良し家族で、雨上がりのお散歩を楽しんでいたようです。
