Replacement of BMW e60 550i Catalytic Converters together with Exhaust Manifolds,
looks a big job but is quite simple it took me only 2 days alone, I did all the job without a rush.

The reason, I have decided to do it, because mine catalysts were destroyed due to oil burning issue and incorrect installation of the valvetronic motors, without calibration a repair shop mechanic overheated my BMW 550 e60 catalytic converters and my tail pipes started to shoot catalyst pieces.. through the tail pipe.. relax I didn’t hurt anyone before I removed them!
Really the smell of gasoline was quite strong…..
you can not even park the car in your garage normally without suffocating..
Engine check dissapears as well which was the other annoying reason .. and you can’t pass emissions control check.
The gyus who think to remove the catalyst gaining 2-3 horsepower more .. I would say – “NOT WORTH IT!!!

Ersatz von BMW e60 550i Katalysatoren zusammen mit Abgaskrümmern,
sieht nach einem großen Job aus, ist aber recht einfach, ich habe nur 2 Tage alleine gebraucht, ich habe den ganzen Job ohne Eile erledigt.
Bitte zögern Sie nicht, Fragen zu dieser Reparatur zu stellen.
Der Grund, warum ich mich dazu entschlossen habe, weil meine Katalysatoren aufgrund von Ölverbrennungsproblemen und falscher Installation der Ventiltriebmotoren zerstört wurden. Ohne Kalibrierung überhitzte ein Reparaturwerkstattmechaniker meine Katalysatoren und meine Endrohre begannen, Katalysatorstücke durchzuschießen das Endrohr .. entspann dich Ich habe niemanden verletzt, bevor ich sie entfernt habe!
Wirklich war der Geruch von Benzin ziemlich stark …..
Sie können das Auto nicht einmal normal in Ihrer Garage parken, ohne zu ersticken.
Die Motorprüfung verschwindet ebenfalls, was der andere ärgerliche Grund war. Sie können die Emissionskontrolle nicht bestehen.
Der Gyus, der daran denkt, den Katalysator zu entfernen, gewinnt 2-3 PS mehr. Ich würde sagen: „Es lohnt sich nicht !!!
