Walnut Hills, Ohio is the location of this adventure. Owned and operated by artist Micha Robertson, the Lucky Cat museum, which is located within the Essex Studios houses over 2,000 maneki neko (beckoning cat) related items. The lucky cat, features in several Japanese folktales and is believed to bring good luck, although its exact origins remain uncertain. From mass produced figures to lucky cat themed slot museums, and artist created, one of a kind felines, the collection of this museum is diverse and expansive. This Lucky Cat Museum and gift shop are a must see for fans of cats, Japanese folklore or pop culture.
