Quarantine had me itching for a cost-effective and fun modification for my 2017 Mk7 Golf Sportwagen with Unitronic Stage 2. YouTube led me to a few basic Air Box modifications which yield little power gains but require no additional parts or pieces and just a little bit of my time.
In this video, I’ll be tweaking the stock Air Intake Duct which leads to the airbox to allow airflow on both sides of the front grill and will leave the engine air pass-through unblocked (other examples you’ll see will block this off using the OEM European block off plate or other means).
