A British shorthair cat names Neko and a British longhair cat names Mimi.

British shorthair cats are one of the oldest recognized cat breeds, first thought to have been brought to Britain by the Romans. Prized for their soft, plush coats and rounded bodies, British shorthairs could almost be mistaken for living teddy bears.

The British Longhair originated in Great Britain in the early 20th century and is the result of crossing British Shorthair and Persian cats. British Shorthair cats had long been crossed with Persians, but resulting cats who displayed the Persian’s long-haired gene were considered unusual.
